The Imperial Focal Plane Two-Shutter Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1910. Designed with the focal plane shutter built into the camera body that was capable of sppeds from 1/25 to 1/1000 of a second. Made only in half plate size. Available with a Ruby Anastigmat or Cooke Anastigmat lens. Similar to the Imperial triple extension outfit but with the special focal plane shutter built-in. Constructed of mahogany with brass hardware. Features include triple swing back, rising, falling and cross swing front, triple extension with double rack and pinion focusing on a ground glass screen, reversible back, brass turntable. Priced at 110/- in 1910.
