The Royal Ruby Reflex Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1910. Fitted with a new self capping time and instantaneous focal plane shutter with exposure speeds up to 1/1000 of a second and a self setting Everset silver-surfaced mirror. It has a long detachable focusing hood that allows to see the exact image at exposure. A long bellows extension that is adjusted with rack and pinion movement and with the omniflex rising falling and swing front. Sold with and without lens. Lens selections included a Ruby Anastigmat f6.8 and a Dallmeyer Stigmatic F6.3. Available in 3 sizes including a quarter plate, 5 x 4 inch, and a half plate. Prices for the camera only ranged from �12 to �24.
