  Sunbeam Roll Film Camera

The Sunbeam Roll Film hand camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1910. Constructed of well-seasoned mahogany body with an aluminum baseboard. Covered in best black seal grain leather with a red leather bellows and nickel finished hardware. Features included a rising, falling and cross front, automatic spring stretchers, self-detaching sing back, improved spool holder, tripod sockets, engraved focusing scale, a reversible swivel finder and spirit level. Fitted with a Beck Rapid Symmetrical lens and a Baush & Lomb Automat shutter capable of speeds from 1/25th to 1/100th of a second and timed exposures of 1, 1/2 and 15 of a second. Tow models were made, Model A for film with a back adapter for both film or plats. Model B provided a double extension bellows with rack and pinion focusing. Made in quarter plate and postcard size.
