  Unita Camera

The Unita Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard in circa 1910. Designed as a collapsible hand camera that embodied the Thronton-Pickard self capping unit focal plane shutter with finger and pneumatic release. Capable of speeds from 3 seconds to 1/1000 of a second. The camera is constructed of mahogany body, leather covered with ebony polished front and back. Features included a rising and falling front, cross front, and a anastigmat lens in a focusing mount. Capable of taking quarter plate exposures. Various lens were available including a Ruby anastigmat, Dallmeyer stigmatic, cooke anastigmat. the basic camera without lens £7 10 0.
