  Pecto No. 1B Camera

The Pecto No. 1B camera was manufactured by the Columbia Camera company of London England in circa 1901. Described as a cheap and reliable instrument at a low price, suitable for hand or stand work. The Pecto 1B features an improved shutter providing time and instantaneous and ball exposures. Features a ground glass focusing screen, shaded by an automatically opening hood. The back is able to be removed and replaced with an Eastman Roll holder without the use of an adapter. The lens is a single achromatic. A reversible view finder is also provided. Priced at 35/- in 1901.
