  Pecto No. 7 Camera

The Pecto No. 7 camera was manufactured by the Columbia Camera company of London England in Circa 1900. The Pecto 7 was a moderately priced hand or stand camera. This camera produced 5 x 7 inch sized exposures on plates. Constructed of Mahogany, highly polished with double extension red leather bellows and covered in leather. It features a ground glass focusing screen, shaded by an automatically opening hood. The lens was s a Baush & Lomb Rapid Rectilinear accompanied with a Unicum shutter providing with a time and instantaneous, finger and pneumatic release. A reversible and hooded view finder and tripod socket was provided.
