Goerz Anschutz or Ango Stereo Camera

The Goerz Anshutz and Ango Stereo Cameras were manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works from approximately 1896 to 1922. Early models carried the Anschultz name and later models after 1905 were referred to as ANGO, referring to the first two letter of the Anschultx-Goerz names. A few variations for presentation models were made with red leather covering, crocodile covering and red bellows. Able to be adapted for plates, film packs or daylight loading roll films. The camera can also be adjusted for panoramic by fitting a single lens. A unique feature over other stereo cameras is that the separation of the lenses is variable so that the relief in the picture can be controlled. A focal plane shutter is built in to provide for a wide range of work. typically fitted with a matched pair of Goerz Dagor lens f6.8. Priced at £22 7s for a 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch size or £22 16s for a 6 3/4 x 3 1/4 inch size.
