  Idler Camera by E. & T. Underwood

The Idler hand camera was manufactured by the E & T Underwood company in circa 1898. Constructed of wood and covered in morocco leather. Featured an automatic changer capable of processing 12 quarter plate sized glass plates housed in sheaths, a special Rapid high-class Rectilinear Euryscope lens, instantaneous and time shutter working in the diaphragm plane, a patent absolute indicator, and two accurate finders. Originally priced at £5.
