The Conley Panoramic Camera, Model A was manufactured by the Conley Camera Company of Rochester, Minnesota from approximately 1911 to 1918. The camera was constructed of wood and covered in genuine bear grain black leather. The All metal parts were made of brass with nickel plating. This camera was designed to be able take images 3 1/2 inches by 12 inches. It contained a pivoting rapid rectilinear lens that had a 140 degree swing. Fitted with a brilliant view finder, round spirit level and two tripod sockets. An improved film winding devise keeps the daylight loading film tight tensioned and always exactly in the focal plane. A safety lock is provided to prevent accidental exposure. A red exposure window is provided on the back to show exposure numbers as the film is advanced. The camera measures 4 7/8 x 10 1/2 c 6 1/2 inches and weighs 68 ounces.
