The Bessamatic 35mm single lens reflex camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sons from 1959 to 1962. It was constructed of heavy metal to last a long time. It made it possible to view, focus and set exposure through one window. The light meter was coupled to the shutter speeds and automatic diaphragm f-stops. fitted with a single f2.8 Color Skopar 50mm 4-element lens. The shutter was a M-X synchronized Compur shutter with ten speeds ranging from one second to 1/500 of a second. Originally priced around $200 to $220.
