  Heliar Reflex Camera

The Heliar Reflex hand Camera was manufactured by the Voigtlander and Sohn AG from approximately 1905 to 1912. Made of superior construction featuring rack and pinion movement working on all four corners of the front ensuring rigidity. A large reflex mirror provides a full image identical to that being photographed. The camera is fitted with a focal plane shutter capable of exposures up to 1/1000 of a second and was guaranteed to work without vibration. The Voigtlander Heliar lens w was an f4.5 with either a 13.5 cm with a focus of 5 3/8 inches or 24 cm with a focus of 9 1/2 inches for the half plate. The camera was also fitted with a reversible back. Made in 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches (6.5 x 9cm) or half plate (12 x 16.5 cm) with Prices ranged from £16 5s to £34 10s.
