Voigtlander & Sohn's Heliar Reflex Stereo Camera was manufactured in circa 1910. The camera was made with superior workmanship featuring rack and pinion movement, a large coated silvered mirror for preservation which provides a full image identical to that being photographed. The camera is fitted with a focal plane shutter capable of exposures up to 1/1000 of a second and was guaranteed to work without vibration. The Voigtlander Heliar lenses fitter were an f4.5 with either a 12 cm lens with a focus of 4 3/4 inches or 21 cm with a focus of 8 3/4 inches depending on the size of the camera. The camera was made in two sizes, a 2 /12 x 3 1/2 inch (6.5 x 9 cm) or a postcard size (10 x 15 cm). The camera was also fitted with a reversible back. Prices ranged from £16 5s to £31 10s.
