Voigtlander's Film & Plate folding camera was introduced in 1904 and manufacturing continued until approximately 1912. This camera was made in both a single extension bellows and a double extension bellows with rack and pinion movement. It was also available in three sizes, quarter (4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch), Post card size (5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch) and a 5 x 4 inch size. The 5 x 4 being made in the later years. The camera body was constructed of mahogany and aluminum, and covered in black leather. The metal parts were nickel plated. The bellows were made of a superior leather. It was a high quality folding camera fitted with Dynar f6 or a Collinar f6.8 lens, series III and a Koilos or Compund shutter. prices ranged from 7s 6d to £10 0s.
