  Vag Camera by Voigtlander

The Vag Camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohns from 1925 to approximately 1934. An inexpensive single extension folding camera designed for plates and film packs. It was made in two sizes, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch (6.5x9cm) and 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch (9x12cm). The VAG was fitted with Voigtlander Voigtar Anastigmat f4.5 or Skopar Anastigmat F4.5 lens which could be mounted in a Embezet or Ibsor shutter. The camera was constructed of aluminum alloy and covered in neat black leather, with the metal parts black enameled or nickel plated. It featured rising, falling and cross movement front standard, reversible brilliant finder and a a direct vision finder with sighter at the back, and a black leather bellows. Pricing ranged from $16 to $29, depending on size and lens selection.
