The Salta Camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohns in circa 1910. Described as a metal spring camera with an improved patented focal plane shutter (self-capping). Made in a quarter plate size (9x12cm) and a half plate size (13 x18cm). It was a self extracting camera which was ready for exposure by pressing one lever. Fitted with various lens including Voigtlander Dynar, Collinear III, Collinear II and a Heliar telephoto lens. Prices ranged from £13 10s to £15 10s.
