The long extension Scheren Camera was manufactured by the Voighlander Company in circa 1903. Designed similar to the original Klapp camera, but with a long bellows and a rigid lattice strut. The early models were constructed of wood with leather covering. A roller blind shutter works in front of the plate which can be adjusted for slot size and speed by adjusting the tension of the spring. The camera was capable of taking 9x12cm exposures on glass plates.
