The third version of J.H. Dallmeyer's Naturalist Camera was that of a telephoto reflex camera, manufactured from approximately 1905 to approximately 1920. Designed more like a traditional reflex camera the new Naturalist camera provided a top mounted folding viewing hood instead of the eyepiece. The bellows extended 15 inches. Capable of capturing quarterplate exposures. Later models were fitted with a Grandac telephoto f4 lens. It was described as a specialized model of the Dallmeyer Lendon reflex camera, however little information is available on that camara. The New naturalist reflex camera weighs approximately 5 pounds without the lens. Priced at £42 in 1910.
