  Parallel Bellows Field Camera

J.H. Dallmeyer's Parallel Bellows Field Camera was manufactured in circa 1890. Advertised as the strongest lightest camera in the market. It was constructed of the finest Spanish mahogany with brass bounding to resist tropical climates. Designed with a rear focusing adjusted by via rack and pinion and the image aligned with a rear ground glass screen. It featured a rising falling and cross movement front, a reversible and swing back. Sold without a lens. It was made in five sizes, a 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch, 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch, 10 x 8 inch, 12 x 10 inch and a 15 x 12 inch size. Pricing ranged from £8 0s 0d to £15 17s 6d.
