The Certix Camera was manufactured by the Certo Camera Werk of Dresden Germany, from approximately 1931 to 1935. At which time Models A and B were introduced. The Certix was designed a fast self erecting camera ideal for sport or travel. The camera was constructed of all metal with nickel mountings and covered in seal grain leather. Designed for roll film and capable of taking exposures in in two sizes. I could take eight exposures 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches on No. 120 roll film or sixteen exposures 2 1/4 x 1 5/8 inches in size. It was fitted with a Vario type or Cp type shutter and a a Centar or Zeiss Tessar lens. The certix measured 1 1/4 x 2 3/4 x 6 inches and weighs 19 ounces.
