The Certix Model A Camera was manufactured by the Certo Camera Werk of Dresden Germany, beginning in 1935. The Certix Model A was similar to the original Certix except it was covered in a ribbed robusit covering, and took 6x9cm exposures. The Certix was designed a fast self erecting camera ideal for Touring or weekends. It provided two finders, a brilliant finder mounted near the lens and a wire direct view finder for quick action. The camera was constructed of all metal with nickel mountings. Designed for roll film. It was fitted with a numerous lens and shutter combinations.
