  Dolly B Roll Film Camera

The Dolly B camera was manufactured by the Certo Camera Werk of Dresden Germany, in circa 1932. The vest pocket sized Dolly B camera was constructed of all metal and finished in both polished black enamel and chrome plate. I was capable of capturing sixteen 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 inch ( 3 x 4 cm) exposures on roll film. The lens front springs out on struts when the side button is pressed. A radial focusing adjustment under the lens was convenient and simple to operate. It was fitted with a Schneider Xenon f2 lens with 1 3/4 inch focus length and featured a direct view finder which also self erected when pressing the button. The camera measures 4 1/2 x 3 x 1 3/4 inches when closed. Priced at £13 17s.
