  Dolly Vest Pocket Camera

The Dolly Vest Pocket camera was manufactured by the Certo Camera Werk of Dresden Germany, from 1931 to 1940. Designed as an extremely compact and light, self erecting miniature camera. It was able to take eight full vest pocket size pictures 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inch in size or sixteen half vest pocket size pictures 1 1/4 x 1 5/8 inches on standard vest pocket film. The optical view finder was equipped with a mask for the half-size frame. The Vest Pocket Dolly was made of metal with black leather covering and a leather bellows. It was available with a Certar Anastigmat f4.5 lens in a Vario shutter or with a Corygon Anastigmat f3.5 in a Compur B Shutter or a Schneider Xenar f3.5 in a Compur B shutter. The camera measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/8 x 1 3/16 inches and weighs 13 ounces. Priced at $15 with the Certar and $25 for the Corygon.
