  Perfex DeLuxe

The Perfex DeLuxe was manufactured by the Candid Camera Corporation of America company from 1947 to 1950 and was the first new model introduced after the war. The camera body was constructed of stamped aluminum instead of die cast and covered in black leatherette, with chrome metal trim. Capable of accepting standard 35mm roll film, with ether 18 or 36 exposure count. It came fitted with a Wollensak Velostigmat f2.8 50mm coated lens. Other features included a built-in flash synchonizer, interchangeable threaded lens mount, and cloth focal plane shutter with speeds from B to 1/250th of a second.
