The Cyclist Binocular camera was manufactured by the London Stereoscopic & Company Ltd in circa 1898. Designed specificaly for the requirements of cyclists, being very light, extremely portable and resistant to vibration. Capable of capturing 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch exposures. The camera held twelve glass plates or films and was always ready for use. It featured a direct view finder, a time and instantaneous shutter, an automatic exposure counter, it was specially fitted with straps so that it could be carried on the handle-bar or other part of the cycle, and it also featured magnifying lenses for near objects. Originally priced at £5 5s complete with carrying case.
