The Royal Standard de Luxe Camera was sold through the London Stereoscopic Company in circa 1905. Designed to meet the requirements for a really high grade instrument of the light weight folding type. The body was made of mahogany covered in fine-grain green morocco leather. The fittings are finished in matt gilt adding to durability and appearance. The camera featured a long extension bellows rising and cross fronts, adjustable brilliant finder, a focusing scale, and focusing screen. It was fitted with a Goerz celebrated double anstigmat Series II f6.8 lens. The shutter is made entirely of metal and provides exposure speeds from one second to 1/250th of a second, including time triggered by hand or pneumatic release. Priced at £15.
