The Twin Lens Artist Camera was designed by the London Stereographic & Photographic Co. from approximately 1889 to 1900. Advertised as the smallest twin-lens camera in the world. Made of the finest mahogany and covered in morocco leather. It was made in a quarter plate ( 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch) and a 5 x 4 inch size. the changing box accpeted twelve plates or twenty films. It was fitted with a pair of Black band Rapid Euryscope lenses working at f5.6 and a Thorton-Pickard instantaneous shutter or a Baush & lomb shutter. The camera measured 5 1/4 x 6 x 6 1/2 inches and was priced at £14 14s for the quarter plate and £16 16s for the 5 x 4 in 1898.
