The Spartaflex twin lens camera was manufactured by the Spartus Camera Corp in circa 1940. It was advertised as an automatic dual focusing camera with synchronized flash. It was capable of capturing twelve, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch exposures on standard 120 roll film. It featured a coated achromat f7.7 lens coupled with precision milled focusing rings, with a focusing range from five foot to infinity . An iris diaphragm featured four lens openings f7.7, f11, f16 and f22. It was constructed with a die cast front. The camera has an ebony finish with chrome plated metal parts. The Spartaflex featured a side sportsman viewfinder for eye level shooting and a large brilliant finder. Camera measures 4 1/2 x 3 x 4 inches. It used No. 5 flash bulbs and two standard batteries. Priced at $47.91 with flash gun.
