The Ciroflex Camera was manufactured by Ciro Cameras, Inc of Delaware Ohio from approximately 1949 to 1954. Designed as a twin-lens reflex camera with featured found with higher priced cameras. The ciroflex was constructed of welded steel body with black pebble grain leather covering and chrome plated metal trim. The Ciro-flex was produced in five models, A through F, with increasingly more capable lenses and shutters. Commonly found fitted with a Wollensak Velostigmat 85mm f3.5 optical lens and a Wollensak Anstigmat f3.2 viewing lens. A choice of shutters were offered, a Alphax shutter with speeds from 1/10 to 1/200 or an upgraded Rapax shutter with speeds from 1/10 to 1/400 of a second, plus with time and bulb settings. Models D through F had built-in flash sync including use with a Kodak flash holder. The pop up viewer had an attached magnifier or critical focusing. Priced at $83.50 fitted with an Alphax flash shutter and $113.70 with the Rapax flash shutter.
