The Coronet Cub camera was manufactured by the Coronet Camera Company from 1939 through the 1950s. Several versions were made during this time period. Shown above are the 1946 version and the latest model, then below is the 1939 model. The body was constructed of black bakelite with metal parts chromium plated. It was capable of capturing eight 28 x 40 mm sized images on number 828 roll film. An f10 lens and s single speed shutter was mounted on a collapsible tube, opening automatically. It measured approximately 4 1/2 x 3 x 1 3/4 inches and weighed approximatley 11 ounces. Priced in 1946 at 12s 6d.
