The Coronet Fildia Camera was manufactured by the Tiranty company of Paris France in partnership with the Coronet Camera Company of England beginning after the war in circa 1947, in order to abide by newly established restrictions by the French government. Several version were made with various covering patterns. The Fildia box camera was constructed of cardboard with a leatherette cloth grain covering and a hexigonal face plate. It was capable of capturing 6 x 9 cm exposures on number 120 roll film. The camera was fitted with a fixed focus Tiranty meniscus lens with two apertures and a yellow filter. It also featured a top mounted handle, two view finders and a synchronized flash.
