The Coronet Box camera no. 1 was manufactured by the coronet camera company in circa 1935. Designed as an inexpensive an simple to use box camera. It was constructed of cardboard body covered with a black imitation leather material, a metal back and chromium plated metal fittings. It featured a fixed focus meniscus lens, a simple rotary shutter and two view finders. The Coronet Box camera no. 1 captured 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 inch ( 4 x 6.5 cm) sized exposures on roll film.
