The Coronet Popular Twelve Camera was manufactured by the Coronet Camera company of England in circa 1950. It was designed as a small vertically shaped, twin lens snap shot camera, similar to the Coronet Dynamic 12. It was made from from black Bakelite with a chromium plated metal lens hood. It was capable of capturing 12 exposures, 2 1/4 inch square (6 x 6 cm) in size on number 120 or 620 roll film. This camera featured a Coronac fixed focus meniscus lens and a single speed shutter operating at approximately 1/25 of a second. An unusual shutter design places the button on the bottom requiring the operator to push up to release the shutter, instead of down.
