The Modernist Camera was manufactured by the coronet camera company in circa 1930. It was constructed of wood with a highly decorative red paper covering, black painted metal hardware and a leather handle. The covering is similar to the early Coronet Plate Box Camera. It featured two view finders, a simple meniscus lens and rotary shutter.
