The Dasco camera was manufactured by the Monarch manufacturing company in circa 1940s. It was designed as an in inexpensive compact candid camera for capturing sixteen exposures on no. 127 or A8 film. It was constructed of plastic bakelite with a built-in optical view finder. It was fitted with a simple meniscus lens and time and instantaneous shutter.
