The Monarch 620 camera was sold by the Monarch Manufacturing Company of Chicago Illinois, in circa 1940. The Monarch 620 was an inexpensive camera constructed of aluminum with leatherette covering. It was fitted with a Graf 62mm meniscus lens and instantaneous & time shutter. This camera was capable of capturing sixteen 1 5/8 x 2 1/8 inch exposures on Eastman number 620 or Agfa PB20 roll film. The Monarch 620 camera originally retailed for $4.00.
