  Princess Camera by Monarch

The Princess camera was manufactured by the Monarch Manufacturing Company in circa 1940s. This inexpensive candid camera was similar to the popular Pickwik camera. The Princess was constructed of plastic bakelite with a built-in double element eye-level view finder and decorative metal face plate with chromium trim. It was fitted with a genuine R. Graf achromat 35mm lens that featured three stops, f7.7, f11 and f16, and fast action snap-shot and time shutter. The Pickwik camera was designed to be able to capture thirty six exposures on 35mm roll film. It featured a automatic exposure counter, and built-in tripod socket. The no. 300 Princess camera was priced at $5.00.
