The Royal Reflex camera was sold by the Monarch Manufacturing Company of Chicago Illinois, in circa 1940. It was a simple psuedo reflex camera constructed of black bakelite with two decorative chromium metal faceplates. It was fitted with a fixed focus Graf achromat 50mm lens with three stops (f7.7, f11, f16), and an instantaneous & time shutter. It took sixteen half frame exposures (3 x 4 cm) on number 127 roll film.
