  Beacon Flash Color Camera by Whitehouse

The Beacon Flash Color Camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products Inc., of Brooklyn New York in circa 1960. The Beacon Color Flash was an inexpensive snap-shot camera made of grey and beige plastic bakelite with a built-in eye-level view finder. It was capable of capturing sixteen 4 x 4 cm exposures on number 127 roll film. It was fitted with a coated and color corrected Whitmar and a snap-shot shutter providing a single instantaneous speed of approximately 1/50. It featured two aperture settings for color or black and white pictures.
