  Beacon Reflex Camera by Whitehouse

The Beacon Reflex Camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products Inc., of Brooklyn New York in circa 1960. The Beacon Reflex was an inexpensive snap-shot camera made of plastic bakelite with a built-in eye-level view finder. It was capable of capturing sixteen exposures on number 127 roll film. It was fitted with a coated and color corrected Whitmar and a snap-shot shutter providing a single instantaneous speed of approximately 1/50. It featured two aperture settings for color or black and white pictures, a red window in the back to view film count and synchronized flash capability.
