The Charlie Tuna Camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products Inc., of Brooklyn New York in circa 1971. It was designed as a novelty to promote Sunkist's brand Tuna Fish and was shaped like the products character Charlie the Tuna, who made the slogan "Sorry Charlie" famous. It was available for $4.95 and three Starkist tuna labels. The camera was made of plastic with a built-in view finder and was about ten inches tall. It was capable of taking exposures on number 126 roll film which was loaded in a fin. The featured a simple instantaneous shutter and had synchronized flash capability.
