The Miraflex camera was manufactured by Compco USA in circa 1950. A twin lens reflex type camera that provide a large viewfinder providing the actual sized picture. THe camera was made of black plastic body with a metal faceplate, measuring 6 x 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. It featured a detachable synchronized flash unit utilizing no. 11 flash bulbs, a Copar fixed focus lens, a snap-shot instantaneous and time shutter, a long corded neck strap. It was capable of capturing 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch exposures on number 620 kodacolor or black-and-white roll film. It was priced at $9.95 in 1951.
