  Rouch's Eureka Detective Hand Camera

The Eureka Detective Hand Camera was manufactured by W.W. Rouch & Co, of London, England in circa 1888. It was patented in 1887. This camera was constructed of mahogany, highly polished, with brass hardware. It featured a magazine for 12 exposures on quarter plates sized plates, an external daylight plate changing bag made of leather. It was fitted with a Rouch brass lens with waterhouse stops, and a roller blind shutter behind the lens.
