  Rouch's Eureka Focal Plane Hand Camera

The Eureka Focal Plane Detective Hand Camera was manufactured by W.W. Rouch & Co, of London, England in circa 1910. This camera was similar to the original Eureka Detective camera except it had an improved focal plane shutter. It was constructed of mahogany, highly polished, with brass hardware. It featured a magazine for 12 exposures, two brilliant finders, detachable back and it was fitted with a Rouch's Planastigmat lens. This camera was made in three sizes, including a 4 1/4 x 4 1/3 inch quarter plate priced at £10 10 0, a 5 x 4 inch priced at £13 13 0 and a 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch. priced at £16 16 0.
