The Optima II camera was manufactured by the Agfa company from 1960 to 1966. This third and forth generation model maintained all the features of a fully automatic camera. This model combined the 'Magic Button" for automatic exposure setting and shutter release and placed it on the right hand release. It was fitted with a color Apotar S f2.8 lens in a Prontormantor shutter providing speeds from 1/30 to 1/250th of a second. A model IIs was also introduced which was the same camera but with a coupled rangefinder.
