The Optima 500 camera was manufactured by the Agfa company in circa 1960. This Optima model was similar to the previous Optima III S model featuring a coupled rangefinder and all the features of a fully automatic camera. It was fitted with a color Solinar f2.8 45mm lens in a Compur shutter providing speeds from 1/30 to 1/500th of a second.
