The Record III Camera was manufactured by the Agfa Camera Werk of Munich Germany from 1952 to 1955. Designed similar to the Record II except upgraded with a uncoupled rangefinder and double exposure prevention. The camera was capable of capturing 2 1/4 inch x 3 1/2 inch (6 x 9 cm) sized exposures. It was well constructed with a chromium-plated cover plate and covered with a scratch proof robusit cover. It featured a self erecting lens mount, body shutter release, built-in optical view finder, depth of field ring, and accessory shoe. It was fitted with either an Apotar f4.5 lens in a Prontor SV shutter, or a Solinar f4.5 lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter. Pricing ranged from 168DM to 196DM.
