The Readyset Special Camera was manufactured by the Agfa Camera Werk of Munich Germany in circa 1932. It was a standard folding bed camera that combined good quality and low pricing. It was capable of capturing eight 2 1/4 inch x 3 1/4 inch sized exposures. It was made in two sizes, one for Agfa PB20 or No. 620 film and the other size was accepted Agfa PD16 or No. 616 format film. This camera featured a built-in-body shutter release, optical eye-level finder, hinged spool covers, durable waterproff covering and polished metal trim and other features found on the viking cameras. It was fitted with a high quality Achromatic lens and mounted in a Time and Instantaneous shutter with a variable diaphragm. Priced at $9.45 for the PB20 model and $10.45 for the PD16 model.
