  Agfa Silette

The Silette camera was first introduced by the Agfa Camera-Werk company of Munich Germany in 1953. This camera proved to be a long running series of cameras up through the early 1960s. The first version is distinguishable by a single view finder window found in the center of the top cover. Designed as a small quick and easy to use camera. This camera was sold with various lens - shutter combinations including a featured an Agfa Color-Apotar, Apotar, Radionar and Color-Solinar and shutter options were a Pronto, Prontor-S, Prontor-SVS or a Compur-Rapid. Features mentioned include a rapid lever wind coupled with film transport, shutter loading, double exposure prevention and film counter.
