  Langtry Camera by Lonsdale Brothers

The Langtry camera was manufactured by The Lonsdale Brothers in circa 1898. A well constructed practical camera constructed of mahogany with a double extension dark burgundy leather bellows. It featured front and rear focusing adjustments as depicted. There has been some speculation that the Langtry name was used in reference to Lilly Langtry a famous actor of the time, however there is no proof of the connection.
