The Universal De Luxe Hand camera was manufactured by Louis Gandolfi of London in circa 1910. It was described as being the best of its kind on the market. It was of a rigid construction made with seasoned Spanish mahogany with the outside covered morocco leather, a leather bellows and brass hardware fittings. It was made with a triple extension bellows adjusted with rack and pinion movement. A quarter plate had 16 inch movement. It featured a swing back and front, a Baush & Lomb rectilinear three focus lens in an automatic shutter, a reversible brilliant finder and spirit levels. Made in quarter plate, 5 x 4 inch, post card, half-plate and 7 x 5 inches.
